Convenient Care Clinic is an experienced, nurse practitioner–owned clinic providing trusted acute care and compassionate service to patients and families throughout West Fargo and the surrounding communities. With 25+ years of kind, caring, and judgment-free experience, our team is dedicated to helping patients ages 6 months to 80+ feel heard, supported, and well cared for. Our mission is simple: to keep our community healthy, safe, and supported with convenient and affordable healthcare.

We Offer:

Walk-in care 7 days a week for acute concerns such as illness, injury, infections, and minor medical needs.

Primary care by appointment with our providers: Jamie Upton, DNP, FNP-C or Jean Isakson, CNP for preventative services, chronic condition management, wellness visits, and ongoing care.

Whether you need same-day attention or long-term primary care, we’re here to make healthcare easier, more accessible, and centered around you.

About Our Team

Susan C. Nordquist, FNP-C

CO-OWNER | FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Susan Nordquist, FNP-C, is co-owner of Convenient Care Clinic and has been dedicated to the nursing profession since 1992. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to one guiding principle: quality healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and affordable.

Recognizing the growing financial barriers many individuals and families face in today’s healthcare system, Susan established Convenient Care Clinic as a practical alternative to high-cost care. The clinic was built on the belief that patients deserve straightforward, in-person medical attention without unnecessary expenses and works to solve those challenges through providing hands-on care in a setting designed for convenience, respect, and efficiency.

Now in partnership with her son, Jamie Upton, DNP, FNP-C, Susan continues to support the clinic’s mission of delivering patient-centered care to the West Fargo community and surrounding areas.

Outside of the clinic, Susan values time with family, community involvement, and investing in the next generation – both personally and professionally.

Jamie Upton, DNP, NP-C

CO-OWNER | DOCTOR OF NURSING PRACTICE

Jamie Upton, DNP, FNP-C, is a Fargo native and graduate of North Dakota State University, where he earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice. For more than a decade, he has served the local community as a Nurse Practitioner, bringing a broad and well-rounded clinical background to his patient care.

His provider experience spans internal medicine, emergency medicine, hospice, ENT, oral surgery, primary care, and walk-in settings – allowing him to approach each patient with both depth and perspective. Jamie believes quality healthcare begins with listening. He is passionate about patient education and knows that informed patients are empowered patients.

As co-owner of Convenient Care Clinic, Jamie is committed to the mission his Mom started by providing accessible, relationship-centered healthcare grounded in trust, clinical excellence, and community connection.

Outside of the clinic, Jamie values time with his wife and family, lifelong friendships, and opportunities to travel and explore.
